As per the subject. Mine is loose and it is the pot shaft itself that is wiggly, hence the pot must be replaced. Hover, since the pot does not (I think) necessarily go to full zero resistance, I am wondering if it needs to be calibrated after replacement. Does anyone know, and if so know what the procedure is?

Well as far as I can tell, no calibration is necessary. The pot does go to zero. Easy fix, the pot is a standard Bournes part that needs desoldered but nothing tricky.

I just did repair mine today. A standard 10k pot will mostly fit. It's not a hard job if you are used to solder/repair electronics.

Maybe this can also be of some help: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xUUWaQYacaY
