hi, i just got the macbook pro 17" a couple of weeks ago. before that, i work with pc. the audio interface that i used with my pc was mbox 1 with protools 6.7 LE. When i tried to install it on my new mac, it just didn`t work. then i get to know all the stuff about mac ppc, mac intel, UB software and so on. i made a big investmen in this machine, and with my no working mbox i´m thinking about to buy a new audio interface. but before doing that, i would like to know if any body works with the native audio interface of the macbook pro, how is its performances, and some more specifications. i mean the price of this machine suggest me that the audio interfece works gut.

what i think is to conect my instruments to my mixer, from my mixer to the input of my macbook pro.

what do you think about the native interface and about my conections?

mportant: Users with qualified Intel-based Macs will need to use the authorization code / serial number provided with this Pro Tools LE 7.0 purchase to download and install Pro Tools LE 7.1.1 from the Product Support page here These users should not download and install 7.0, but instead upgrade directly to 7.1.1.
