PRESS RELEASE
Social Networking Meets Digital Music Distribution
WaTunes.com, the new music & entertainment social networking service,
today announced the launch of the WaTunes Music Group (WTMG) at:
www.watunes.com. WaTunes Music Group is a digital music distribution
network that enables music artists and recording labels to sell and
distribute their music to over 100 music stores such as iTunes, Napster,
Rhapsody, eMusic, Sony Connect, Zune, Yahoo!, and many other music
retailers and mobile services for free.
As a WaTunes.com member, music artists and labels can sell their music by
logging in to their WaTunes.com account and choosing the new WTMG Panel.
The WTMG Panel provide unique tools such as: UPC Generation, Sales
Manager, Available Stores, and Customer Support. Music artists and labels
contact support to have their WTMG Account setup which allows them to
upload their contents via FTP. Music artists then watch as their music is
live at the music stores and earn their sales every month.
DarkGlobe Records CEO Stefan Lane (also known as Styk Shift) says
"WaTunes.com will get plenty of business from me as well as the bringing
of others. I plan on DarkGlobe Records to grow thanks to WaTunes.com".
Styk Shift's music is currently available on iTunes, Napster, Rhapsody,
and Sony Connect.
Apart from WaTunes Music Group services, WaTunes.com is a place for fans to
connect and meet new friends, family, co-workers, music artists, and
recording labels. As a member of WaTunes.com, fans are able to customize
their own profile, post blogs, comments, and messages, post in the message
boards, upload any widget such as iMeem, YouTube, Mashable.com, and many
other widgets to their profiles, listen to the radio via TuneFM, create
photo albums, and buy music from their favorite music artists.
With digital music distribution, social networking, and digital media,
WaTunes.com has become a place where people can freely connect, share, and
listen to music and other media platforms. |
