replicant is a project by london's kinky roland, credited producer of boy george's current electro project "the twin", out on a limited 7" serie on more protein records.

his debut as an electro artist is on beautycase-records, co-operating with glenn gregory (heaven 17), princess julia (the most, the dirty monroes on taylor made records), and electro producer keen k (aka divider on das drehmoment and müller
records).

the project replicant is focused on electro and italo, always with some excellent vocal help of singer icons, and sometimes roland himself.

whatch out for replicants dj appearances and live-shows.

testo sterone: testo sterone ep (bcr005)

"testo sterone" is a new project by gianni parrotta, who is well known for his labels "thunderground" and "discopizzeria" records. gianni is in the music biz since 10 years now, released over 30 vinyls, some minimal and hypnotic some hard and fast.

he is still thirsty for new, so here he goes with "testo sterone", a project that stays for entertaining atari electro sound with some disco flavours.

the debut of "testo sterone" is out on beautycase-records in march 2004. the record is containing 4 tracks, two of them solo and two with guest artist appearences ("die komplizen" and "mik").

the testo sterone is now on the www.rin.it charts at nr.29!!

fonteyn & mobb rule: la cienega (after dark) (bcr006)
VÖ: may 2004

this is the first release from the partnership of fonteyn (computer blue) and producer mobb rule, and is inspired by days spent on la cienega boulevard in l.a.: the cars, the surgically enhanced denizens, the neon & chrome.

the record is a mixture of hi-nrg, italo and electronic disco, glamour and strong melody. vocals are provided by marika gauci, singer of london band, hotel motel. remix is supplied by acclaimed duo polygamy boys (bunker records), aka fancyman
(gigolo & lasergun records) and sneak thief (lasergun records).

the track has already received support and playlistings from djs like jo jo de freq (nag nag nag), tommie sunshine (dustraxx) and even dj hell. (gigolo).

Hey I was glad to read about all these releases and check out the site! I have all 4 of The Twin 7" releases and was excited to see The Replicant and even more excited to see he was working with Glenn Gregory. Couldn't get the streams for your new releases to work though Looks like an excellent project!
