Inside (pot) or outside (that dirty grease of your fingers)
The wheel is made of alumium, which means grease can be removed by any dishwasher soap, I think.

Outside...I will give it a try. The rest of the synth is clean because I clean it regularly - that's the only part which still has some dirt on it.
