Quote: | Group of Italian citizens is desperately seeking
fairly/marginally honest politicians to run in
the next political elections for the Italian parliament.
The salary is extremely competitive (among the highest in the world)
and countless "beyond the imagination" benefits are included.
Judiciary immunity is also guaranteed.
Once elected, the candidate may bring along friends
and relatives who will be offered positions as top
level state administrators or directors of a national TV network.
Job location is in one of the most exclusive neighbourhoods
in the heart of Rome (walking distance from Piazza Navona).
No particular skills are required
(in fact, having no skills at all is perfectly OK).
No actual work is really necessary, except appearing
on TV talk shows, where politicians are not supposed
to answer questions,
but are invited to join well known soubrettes
and sing-along popular themes. |

Does one actually have to be Italian to apply? I seem to remember a certain exotic moviestar of Hungarian extraction standing for election. Did she actually get elected? _________________ Where there are too many policemen, there is no liberty. Where there are too many soldiers, there is no peace. you mean Ilona Staller She's naturalized Italian and, of course, was elected. AFAIK she did less damage to Italian citizens than many other politicians Just in case you wonder I did not vote for her it does not mean I have something against "movie stars" _________________ homepage - blog - forum - youtube

If you'd just written "Cicciolina" I would have known who you meant ... that's the name that was consequently used in the newspapers here, I didn't even know she had "real" name

We don't have a spoken forum |
but we could have a contest with people recording the word "cicciolina". unfortunately I can not think of any reasonable prize for the winner or any reason to do it
