Haagen (Dasz) at Sequential Circus 2 - Jan 19, 2008 |
 |
|
Hi folks,
For those who may be interested (and are located near Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada), I am performing my Haagen set this weekend.
http://electro-music.com/forum/topic-23185.html
To make it not Off Topic, I will only use
2x G2 keyboards (expanded) -yay!
1x Yamaha Rs7000
1x Waldorf Xt
1x Mackie 1202 Mixer
See you there, I hope!

Holy crap, I managed to hold it together for 35 ripping minutes twice today. only one glitch with the acoustic guitar in the left G2 (sync reset). I feel pretty much ready.
Here is my setup for the set on Saturday (in case I may not have my usual 2m x 1m table).
The mixer (currently on the table in the photo, will be on the 2nd rack of the right G2. The Left G2 will be on a 2nd keyboard stand.
This should make access way easier than in the current setup as seen on the youtube video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yw0tP6PsQbI). I noticed as I practice, when I do stuff in the left G2 and need to touch the rs7k, I still stretch or run for it.
Thus the new setup (which I envisioned a long time ago, while on a walk), will make make it easier to see and access.
I will not bring the cat (Kajtek, one of the G2 Beta Testers from years ago), although he could work on one G2 while I am on the other. Something to do with his agent...
Yes, this is a G2 post, albeit a logistic one.
/Dasz

Thanks for the support, y'all! The show went really well. I got great feedback. A lot of people were very surprised that it was my debut performance.
I arranged for a video crew of 2, there were plenty of people taking pictures, and the whole thing was taped as well.
So far I have a few pics from the event . I'll post links as soon as I get that stuff. Might take some time. See this thread for the content -- http://electro-music.com/forum/post-164635.html#164635

I did my 2nd performance of the Haagen set this past Saturday. I went on at midnight until 12:45am. at 140 bpm. It was deep and better than the 1st time I think.
