Nope, it's the MKI...only real differences are the 64 steps, p/s and size...the sequencer and synthesis is still the same amazing stuff. |

my band has the user wave mk2 and i am dancing with the idea of getting one for personal use. We had an mk1 and the noise floor was unbearable. I don't know if this was innate to the design or if it was the power supply (i know it wasn't my gain staging within the box... i was as conservative as on the andromeda) but I have to say I'm a little weary of the mk1's.
How is the noise floor on yours?

I never had an issue at all...I've heard a lot of people have all kinds of issues due to dirty power, etc though...I know they are picky about power and if you don't have an Elektron PSU, you'll have issues. (I still have the original PSU, of course). The MKIIs are def a bit hotter in the S/N ratio area. I also always run everything though my power conditioner and would probably recommend that regardless of MKI or MKII. If you want I can send you a demo of my old stuff so you could have a listen. |

Everything seems cool. You don't accept paypal correct? In that case do you mind if I contact you via phone? My email is
red youth at gmail dot com
so i don't get spammed, when you punch in the email leave no space between anything. meaning red youth is one word.
cool and thanks. Sorry to hear you have to sell gear to pay medical bills.
