Impressive setup!

I wouldn't mind some brief examples from NS-4. Especially, what kind of smooth random output can it make.

Well I recorded some samples for you tonight. They're all running through the MMF on the S1.

1st one is just noise as follows (MMF on S1 Open all the way):

S1 White, NS-4 White, S1 Red, NS-4 Red, NS-4 Pink. The 'Red' sounds different and deeper/lower in tone on the S1.

2nd sample is the S/H from the NS-4 (w/some reverb added, MMF on S1 about half way Open). This is feeding the Cutoff of the MMF. I took 2 oscillators from the S1 and used them to drive the Rate & Lag CV on the NS-4. I then adjusted the knobs on the NS-4 to taste. Only 1 oscillator (sawtooth) was going to the MMF of the S1 and that is what you hear 'changing'.

Let me know what you think. I didn't compress or eq these samples.

| I'm just curious, but has anyone else purchased the rack for use with their Cwejman modules? |

Awesome Setup!

How does the 3 Band Parametric EQ compare with the Quad Resonator? |

Thanks Cat! They have their similarties. They both have the same frequency range. With the RES-4 you do get that extra band and the Notch output. It really depends on what you want to do. You can really dial in frequencies with the VCEQ-3.

You need another module to take advantage of the FREQ, BW, LEVEL inputs on both modules. Either the D-LFO or another favorite the PH-4. |
