nordstage ex lezlie Subject description: adjustments |
 |
|
Hello,
I recently bought a nordstage ex compact. I enjoy playing it. The only thing I find a bit poor, are the lezlie adjustments. So far I only found the acceleration speed to adjust (slsow, mid, fast). But I cannot adjust the low and high speed of the rotors. Did I miss something or isn't possible anyway?

the acceleration sounds fine on mid(default)
if you want rotor speeds other than stop/slow/fast;use a morph(wheel/pedal/a.touch)to control the rate
i have a korg cx3 with ajustable horn/drum speed/acceleration and none of the settings sounded right |

New to this forum as I am, I am not so familliaire with ways of being here... but since I now have registered I thought I could help but nope...
Have to agree to what gearaholic said (love that name... who isn't )
anyway... my Roland VK-7 also has that function just as the Korg CX3 but I have never thought it to be a good function since I have never got it right...
So I checked My Nord C1 since I was of the opinion... if it would be found on a Nord instrument it would be on the product dedicated to organ sounds only... but... Nope... no luck there...
But I tell you... I love my C1 anyway... with... or without Leslie since both rocks... |

I think Nord got things pretty much right, which is why they didn't include as many options in the first place... I had a Hammond XK3-c, which is AMAZING, but it has so much stuff in there that you don't generally use unless you're trying to completely re-create a specific Hammond. It's cool that those options exist, but once I sold it and got my Stage Compact, I nver found myself wanting for those extra options. Plus, the other sounds are killer, and it weighs about 1/3 as much as the XK. AND... it's a way easier to use midi controller...
I could gush about it all day...
I'm such a nerd.... |

I have both the Stage Ex Compact as well as my C1 on stage depending on what to play... being organ player at first it gives me more "space" of expression with two manuals... but yes... I just loove my stage aswell and it is sooo easy to just grab it and go... |
