TR-66 triggers

I looked and looked but didn't see anthything obviously applicable so here's my question:

Has anyone tried adding triggers to an old beat box to access the individual drum sounds? I'd like to add separate buttons to play each sound and external trigger inputs for sequencing.

Wow, I couldn't find the service notes, only the user guide. I'll get that and see if I can think of something. I did find a site that had someone starting to hack at the TR-66. looks like all the individual sound outputs are labeled inside and there are even trimmers for tweeking the pitch and decay. I'll post the link when I find it again. It does look hopeful that I could turn this beat box into a legitimate drum machine.

Yeah, they are the trigger inputs for each voice, the service notes have instructions for triggering individual sounds for calibration but the schematic doesn't specify the cap value for the test trigger. Each voice can also be triggered by touching a probe and then probing the trigger input. Probably dangerous tho.
