Ondioline for Sale Subject description: I'm selling one of my rare Ondiolines....! |

Well, I never thought I'd do this, but to raise cash for another instrument, I'm selling off my Blonde Ondioline.
I've owned it since the year 2000, when I traveled to Paris, specifically to bring the instrument home.
It has had several repairs, and has worked off an on since that time.
here are two photos:

Here are a couple of samples of the instrument, soloing:

The instrument still needs work, to get it playing in tip-top shape. I had a new filterbank faceplate custom-made for it, since the original was quite warped.
This is all vacuum tube circuitry - pre-transistor.
I don't think I need to give you guys a history of the instrument. Just know that it's extremely rare to have one for sale in the USA.
I'm selling it for a SET SALE price of $1750, which is *exactly* what I paid for it in 2000. Don't try and negotiate, please. AND, I'm throwning in the custom-made shipping case with the sale - a professionally made case, that cost me $300 to have built.
If you are interested, please email me off-group, at dana@danacountryman.com. Please don't respond on this discussion group. Private emails only.
I will take Paypal or cash. Shipping costs are extra.
If you're in the Seattle-Everett area, feel free to come look at it, and play it. I'm trying to avoid selling this on eBay, so you have first grabs.
Best,
- Dana Countryman

P.S. I'll wait and see if there are any responses from this, and then I'll go to eBay. |
