I posted this over in the nomad forum, but that forum doesn't seem as frequented.

Just want to see how this is working for folks. Want to buy a new cheap laptop and thinking of getting a netbook and installing ubuntu on it.

If I understand correctly windows 7 starter, which many netbooks come with, is very limited and might give issues with running the patch editor.

So just want to get any feedback from people using nomad on ubuntu or other linux. Is it reliable as a main patch editor?
