Does anyone know what happened to the Nord Modular List? It hasnt been recieving or sending mail in some days now, and I havnt seen anything posted anywhere as to why..

I dont like forums, for exactly the reason that I have to rememer to read them..

Ah so ypu probably won't read this ... guess that Howard has to do a litlle something to the mail thingy then ...

Is the list down often ? Mail tends to come in bursts as if it is turned on occasionally. Ehm, not normaly .. but on the NM list it does.

uh..duh. the list seems to be down. No real point in asking the list. I checked - no messages have gone into its online archive after the last message I recieved. My tests didnt get through, and Ive gotten now further email in 3 or 4 days now.

Yeah, Im guessing its down. And messages do seem to come in bursts, but its rare that it would be this long with absolutely nothing...

probably it will just suddenly "burst" back on.

The list is running. There just hasn't been any traffic lately. At times the software chokes up and shuts itself down. It has to be restarted manually. Please don't send any, "Anybody out there?" messages. Thanks.

OK, there was indeed a problem. A file got corrupted and hung the software. I think I was able to get the log jam unjammed. Thanks for the heads up, Tony.
