No, I would imagine it will not be 0V. The (+) V coming into the board is travelling through that pot. At maximum resistance it is 10K. (It would only be 0V if the pot were wired differently and one o ...

That starve pot should definitely work. If it isn't working for you then either the pot is faulty, the big capacitor is faulty, or there is something shorting out that section somewhere. Most of the f ...

Excellent news! Glad your son likes it too. An aspiring Bob Moog perhaps?

The starve pot... is it 10K? Maybe your value is too large? Also, what is the value of the big capacitor? It should be 2200 ...

If there is no (+) V on pin 14 (top right pin) of the chip, then the RV5 potentiometer must be faulty. I have burnt out a few pots myself... as well as burning myself out on pot! Laughing Seriously thou ...

Hello Snapper,

I'd be double checking the cut marks under the stripboard. If that resistor is burning out then something is shorting out there. I know the artwork is confusing, but that is all part ...

Thanks for the correction. I have changed the component list on page 1. Embarassed

Hi,

I would try and wire the +9v to the switch. It shouldn't be too difficult to switch around. I think you might be right with the audio having the ground supplied already. See if that works.
