just one note, you don't need to use all the pulldown resistors.

You're right. The Eunuch Selector was part of a larger design and I leave pulldown/up resistors on most inputs out of habit in case ...

Hey there. I'm back to thinking about these sorts of circuits again after a long break and figured I'd share a schematic for something I was working on called the Eunuch Selector. I named it that beca ...

So lets settle the score... CMOS can or can't work with negative voltages without comparators? Is this something that is just 'not advised' because the chips don't respond to negative voltages or is i ...

Could y'all chime in about the applications of R2R ladders in Lunettas? I understand what the circuit does and feel like I should build a couple, but I'm kinda stumped on what to use it for beyond mix ...

I've been using an incredibly simple VCA idea that came from the Nic Collins book. It's not a proper VCA by any means, but I've had good results using a 40106 oscillator to blink an LED pointed toward ...

Mikmo,

It is indeed grounded at both ends. I don't know where I read it (possibly somewhere on this thread even) but this kind of 'LFO' works not by directly modifying the output of the oscillators ...

As for the 40106 CV input, you are right about it not accepting negative voltages. If you have a positive voltage you can use the YAVCO:

Wow, great idea. I suspect that if you split the vol ...
