They do come off pretty easy. Just a squeeze and they will pop out.
One bit of advice: while you are in there, clean all of them, even though it is a daunting task. I opened mine to do the Store bu ... |

Lately my G2X has been emitting an audible hum, and there is hum on the audio outs too. Not so loud that a guitarist would notice ![]() |

To cap this off correctly, if a bit late: it seems that the MPC sends an all notes off message and sustain off message immediately after each program change. By filtering these out... everything works ...

Yes, that is what it is. Basically it seems that any MIDI channel data that is received immediately after the program change, causes the crash. In fact, I am operating on a new hypothesis here. The pe ...

Ugh. Several crashes and reboots later, I still don't know what's going on.
First - this is caused by specific data strings sent from the MPC Live. The weird thing is that it only happens when movi ... |

Whew! I am safe, but my heart is still pounding.
In a nutshell - junk data from my MPC crashed my G2x, HARD. As in it wouldn't boot. Fortunately I remembered how to install the OS and, after an in ... |

Well as far as I can tell, no calibration is necessary. The pot does go to zero. Easy fix, the pot is a standard Bournes part that needs desoldered but nothing tricky.

As per the subject. Mine is loose and it is the pot shaft itself that is wiggly, hence the pot must be replaced. Hover, since the pot does not (I think) necessarily go to full zero resistance, I am w ...

It might also be a corrupted patch maybe?
Good idea, but no. I have also realized that it is only some performances that do this, I am going to start drilling down. |

I built the Metatronic Mods power supply, very nice. They sell only the PCB but the BOM is easy to fill (I did it with one order.)

The Molten Voltage pedal works! Very simple, not too expensive, nails it. Everything is hard-coded so I can't change my G2X global channel, but who cares? I wish I'd had this ten years ago. Thanks EW.
