Emulators are cool Smile Have you (or anyone) tried this out? Never mind, I'll try it myself.

Every now and then I muse about installing an old OS (say, Windows 3.11)on a new machine. You might not have pretty, round edges on the windows, but you should be able to make the thing run at a fantastic speed, if you can get it to understand the hardware. I recently did an "upgrade" to a new computer at work, and I swear that when typing an email in Outlook I occasionally had a 1+ second latency between keypress and character on-screen. It's not the actual speed of the machine, I know, it's the amount of irrelevant background fiddling that the "quality" product busies itself with.
