Anyone know of a substitute for the TDA1022 bbd delay chip? Seems there has been a run on them since JH announced his board and there isn't much stock anywhere! Do any of the panasonic chips work for this application?

MN3004 or MN3010 might be replacement. But first check the datasheets.

or MN3210 -- it is a dual 512 stage BBD

But they won't be drop in replacements.

Is there ANY way to fit a MN3007/MN3207 in the place of a TDA1022 even though the number of cycles is different? can you accomplish that with some circuit changes in the clock and some other changes because they act differently with the input signal? Thanks

Mr. Tom Arnold has some TDA's. You can try contacting him to see if he can sell you some,

I can get the TDA's (not at a cheap price, though) but i just wanted to know if its possible to make a 512 stage circuit with a 1024 stage bbd, and if i have to make lots of changes to switch the IC's...
