yours too is a great find. it must have been written by some stressed out but very "microtonally knowledgeable" guy that you can easily find on those lists.
I know that you know what I am talking about Wink

That is pathetic.

Microtonal music is hard enough to get into without this kind of stuff going on - all the personalities and such.

I haven't had much access to my G2 so any help I could have contributed to the Scala tool for the G2 has stalled. I guess it doesn't matter because nobody seems to be using one for microtonal work.

I try some of Carlo's stuff every once in while, some other people tried things as well. I'm sure more people are interested, and Carlo has a G2 as well of course Very Happy

Did you see the entry for Madonna?

As well as being exceedingly famous for being exceedingly famous a number of miracles have also been associated with Madonna. A most notable example of this was her miraculous transformation of Jesus into a black man and Michael Jackson into a white woman.

BTW, XJScott's software looks really good - I feel kinda bad for not using it much - my copy is already 3 versions behind or os. I guess I could microtune the G2 via MIDI pitch bend messages out of the software (the well-regarded "Lil Miss Scale Oven"). If the G2 could respond to MIDI Tuning Standard messages, then it would be an even better partner to LMSO.

pvgs, send me an email to the biz address requesting the latest version and I'll bring you up to date. There have been improvements to Nuscale since your last update that are relevant to what you want to do here.

Just an idea, but maybe for the G2 it would be easier if the scaling software could send out info using CCs, the G2 is pretty flexible with those. Don't know if such is possible though.

The article has a glaring inaccuracy: Wendy Carlos did NOT actually utilize a theremin in "Switched-on Theremin" but rather, played the musical saw. Besides, critical listening will reveal that the instrument is NOT really a theremin. (I corrected the article)

What's the world coming to! You'd think when people create misinformation they'd get their facts straight!

I'll try that after I get the update from XJScott. I'm guessing 2-byte CC messages should do the trick. Thanks!
