Subject description: I want the vocoder not to output sound once key(s) have been released

Hey guys,
I play in an prog/electro rock band. Our live show is LOUD and it's impossible to keep the sound out of my Vocoder mic. I tried a gate and it's only minutely helping the situation. Needless to say, the stage 'noise' coming thru the vocoder mic sounds like absolute crap once it's processed by my Nord Micro Modular. I'll get to the point....

I need this patch to NOT OUTPUT SOUND when I take my hand off the keyboard. How do I do this exactly? I'll attach the patch file.

THANKS!

How about adding two envelope modules on the output that are triggered by the keyboard, would that work?

Well, I thought all I needed was the "Keyboard1" module and to route it to the "MasterOsc1" and uncheck the KBT on the MasterOsc1 module. I'm gonna try it out. Thank you.

Ok Very Happy please report !

I moved this thread to NM Classic BTW, and removed the duplicate that was hanging around there.

YES! Problem solved! An ADSR envelope right before the outputs fixed it! I used a keyboard module to gate it and, viola! THanks! Very Happy

So you have something like this now?
I also 'cleaned' the Patch a little.

BTW It's one of the rare Patches using the Expander module (NOT in the G2!)
