Is there any way to map one sound over a couple of kyes with the constant pitch, please? I mean not to save it on every key separately which takes more flash space...

welcome kombinateur

Sorry for the delayed reply and sorry for the answer, because I don't know, realy, mostly because I don't have a Wave to test it...
I assume the key will transpose the sound in Pitch... Or doesn't it?
A couple of month ago there was some posting about the Nordlead Percussion sounds. These were assigned to single keys.
Anyway, I'm afraid this also doesn't handle the memory in the way you want...

I will consult some users.

Wout

Yes, every sample is automaticly pitchshifted and it seems that there is no way to turn it off. Maybe the function for the future update? I hope so, would be really healpful...

In the Nord Sample Editor, where you can edit and create samples, you decide if it is a pitched or an unpitched instrument (=a keyboard full of samples). So for drums, unpitched may be better. It the 'old' Sample Editor (got updated yesterday, havent tried the new one) it is on the Instrument tab, an option called "Play mode".

I assume (but I haven't tried) that you could counteract the normal pitch transposition with an inverted Keyboard Morph. Should work if you set it right. I know you can use this to tune the LFOs so they play in tune over the whole keyboard (see some of my presets), so the opposite should be possible with VCO pitch modulation.

Good luck,

Palle

How are you, Palle?
So the Wave sounds on the Clavia site are yours?
And you have changed your last name Wink

I still use EvolCC now and then.

Hi Wout!
Nice to "see" you, too. Well, the factory presets with "PD" in the end are mine, a bunch (around 60) included in this week's OS and program library update. All of them are synthesis only (no samples), and most are programmed with the patch mutator from the G2.

Glad you still use the old and buggy EvolCC... I guess it would be easier to just hook up your G2 to whatever you want to evolve, and use the mutator?

Say hello to your fellow Netherlanders,

Palle

Ahhh, now I understand your comment about changing my last name! Very Happy
(it is correct at www.nordkeyboards.com, but obviously wrong in the press release)

What a compliment. Palle Danielsson is a world-reknown jazz bass player! But no, that's not me. And I don't think he is Nord Wave user (but who knows).

Obviously Clavia mixed up mine and Åke Danielsson's names (he's another betatester/sound designer for them, I guess you know him).

So, a correction - the "PD" sounds in bank five of the new factory library are made by Palle Dahlstedt (me)...and they do not sound like a jazz bass at all...

tjo,
Palle

otoskope: grrrr, I'm totaly blind! And idiot... Smile thank you very much!

Now I need to combine pitched section and unpitched section in one preset, which could be made by using both slots. But first I need to solve the other problem of mine which is the "noisy silence"... when I asign a file of silenc to any key it makes noise... Strange...

Btw, new firmware looks very nice! I'm also courious about your presets
