I have not seen a Nord Wave in person, but it appears that the control panel would accommodate the front panel of a rack module.

In any case, there's no way I'm going to buy another keyboard.

What do you all think?

I don't know what the rest thinks, but I don't need another keyboard. And it is only important what Clavia thinks Very Happy

Clavia won't be making a rack of the wave. Racks have not been profitable for them. If you want a wave you will have to get the key version. Novamusik had 30 nord waves for sale at $1698 due to change in usa distributor they can sell them at that price but they will go back up after those are sold. They have 10 left last I spoke to them. I bought my wave yesterday. If you wanna hear what the wave sounds like check out www.schiller-musik.de and link to schiller-tv under the media link, he has some HD vids of his 2008 tour where he's using 2 nord waves and several roland fantoms. He does his shows in 5.1 and the sound out of the wave is awesome. Also he uses a wave and a lead 3 and lead 1 in the studio to primarily in his writing.
