Need advice on midi processors |
 |
|
Hello.
I'm looking for a hardware (preferably small) midi processor that can recieve note messages on a dedicated channel (say channel 1) and transpose all other channels accordingly.
The event processor from Midi Solutions can almost do this but it's very limited in range and not good for this at all.
So I'm looking for other processors that can do this. Any ideas?
Are there any other general purpose programmable midiprocessors around?
I know Yamaha made one but it's quite big. |

I were going to suggest ees-musik.de products, but realized that they have left the business...
Perhaps Midi-Temp will have something for you in the future, it seems that they are beginning to release small midi tools as well beside their flagship midi router/processor/player...

Actually Ees had M3Transposer which is almost what I want, but not quite. Could probably find it on eBay or something.
I'm now thinking of programming it myself using Miduino. If I get the time... |
