Quick LED gating demo of abomidable sound quality, sorry.

Parts used: 4 40106 osc's, 2 of those with 4040 binary counter, 9 LEDs. Left and right sound picked up from two oscillator outputs, played through small computer speakers, rerecorded in mono by the camera.

I listened to it on top of a Phobos stream and it was cool.

I've been experimenting heaps with the electri-fire LED method. I'm taking wires from say a 4040 and feeding them into oscillators via a LED. Makes a lot of difference to just feeding the oscillators without the LED. I'm thinking of using Gun Holster Style Piggy Back banana jacks to make up some leads. I want to insert a LED into the Piggy Back hole permanently. This way I'll have some LED specific leads for this kind of use.

Now got 3 leads from different outputs the 4040 going to LED's and being fed to the input of the oscillator which is controlling the 4017 (Pin 3) of the melody generator.

I'm now thinking some sort of kluge area (is that what it's called?) is needed on this Lunetta. I need an area where I can link one lead to many! Having loads of fun here tonight! Laughing ....carry on.....

HA HA! Alas, I do not possess a video filming device other than my phone. Sad

I was expecting a MASSIVE write up/story from you Rich... something along the lines of "so there's these 3 sisters who are triplets. All of them are called LED, and they all wanna talk at once..." Smile

Maybe another day... At least I learnt KluDge today! Been a long day... Lunetta chirping on for 16 hours straight now.... Twisted Evil

All it takes is the proper 'trigger' and I'll lambaste (1st time using THAT word! Woohoo! Very Happy Laughing ) away endlessly. Wink Not full of much wording today though. Mind is too full of too many things that I wish to do, with basically no 'alone' time to do it in. Razz Confused
