Am in need of some space, so selling the below. I could also be persuaded with trades. Near offers considered, especially with multiple purchases. Pics available on request.
All items have been flight-cased or racked in my non smoking home studio, covered when not in use. All come in the same condition as when I acquired them.
I’m after a Waldorf Microwave 1 and Andromeda A6, though may consider other bits n pieces.
These will go on eBay in coming days, so please get in contact quickly if you are interested.
Location: London, UK
Contact: PM me on here please – we can then swap emails or phone numbers if we need to discuss anything.
Postage/Delivery: Prices do not include postage. I may be able to deliver in London subject to location and at cost of hiring a ZipCar (means you get safe delivery of kit, door to door, of an evening!)
Payment: Paypal, bank transfer or potentially cash (if I arrange to meet you).
ANALOGUE/HYBRID
1. Akai AX-73:
61 keys of analogue hybrid fun, brought out to rival the Juno106, and in amazing condition for her age. Allows input of an external audio source for mangling in her very lively filter. Lots of bite and squelch and, yet capable of warmth. She’s built like a tank.
Price: £300 ono
2. Korg PolySix (with Korg midi and custom flight-case)
US version, so comes with a voltage convertor for UK use. Technically perfect, and cosmetically excellent (near flawless if you consider age), though she arrived from the US with dinks on endcaps and which were not advised at time of sale. Grrr. MIDI gives you sequencer implementation, hard to find.
Price: OFFERS
3. Studio Electronics ATC-1 with mini moog filter
Whiteface version. Slight blemish to lettering above one of the membrane buttons. Technically perfect. MIDI implementation of almost every parameter, which is a godsend. Capable of serious bass and squiggly madness in the right hands.
Price: £360
SAMPLE and SYNTHESIS ROMplers
4. Roland XV 5050
Near mint front panel. Can’t fault the unit, I just don’t use her enough to justify the rack space.
Price: £220
5. Roland MDC-1
Vintage dance ROMpler. Technically perfect, acquired a bit of rack rash over the years.
Price: £90
6. Roland JV-2080
Near mint front panel, bit of rack rash to the expansion plate.
Price: £190
7. Quasimidi Technox
Near mint front panel, technically perfect
Price: £90
8. Quasimidi Quasar, fully maxxed with the Techno/Rave/Electro and the Hardcore/Industrial ROMs
Again excellent condition, very slight rack rash on leading edge. Technically perfect. Great sound set, used in countless underground dance hits.
Price: £250
EXPANSION ROMs
Ideally sold with the JV-2080 / XV-5050 (would sell all together for £160)
All in excellent condition (as you might expect, having lived inside a sound module)
9. Roland SR-JV80-12 HipHop ROM Price: £50
10. Roland SR-JV80-02 Orchestral ROM Price: £50
11. Roland SRX-05 Supreme Dance ROM Price: £90
VA VIRTUAL ANALOGUE / ASM
12. Novation KS Rack
Excellent condition, small scuff to top left hand side of front panel. One of the knobs is split, sold to me that way, again seller didn’t advise. Does not affect use. Otherwise, technically perfect. An amazing hands-on liquid VA synth.
Price: £200
13. Novation A Station
Excellent near mint condition, comes with up to date OS 2.1 loaded.
Price: £125
14. Waldorf Micro Q Lite
Cosmetically, she's well travelled and lost her lustre here and there, but technically perfect.
Price: £100
ADDITIVE SYNTHESIS
14.1 Kawai K5000r additive synthesis
Near perfect condition - wonderful evolving soundscapes that rivals the Ensoniq Fizmo for depth. I don't want to see her go, but I don't have the rack space any more. Sob!
Price:£400 ono
DRUM MODULE
15. Kawai XD5 vintage drum module
Excellent condition, near mint front panel. Technically perfect though noticed that two of the buttons need a firm push to engage. I have two of these and they take up 2u each. Excellent for Detroit percussion. Velocity programming built-in on many of the kits, helping humanise those sequences.
Price: £150
AUDIO A/D and MIDI IO INTERFACES
16. EMU 1616 laptop cardbus PCMCIA
Comes with all cables and breakout box – technically perfect though arrived a couple of years ago with a dink on the breakout box. Some rack rash . The perfect solution for hi quality DA conversion and MIDI I/O for your laptop. No longer needed.
Price: £140
17. MOTU 2408 Mk2 PCI firewire (with 424 PCI card)
In excellent condition. 8 channels of quality MOTU A/D integration for your DAW
Price: £150 |
