Why does music keyboard shut off when I play a key? I am using generic power supplies at 12 volts. I notice someone saying a 12 V 500 ma one worked great, but I have often powered inexpensive keyboards with less than 500 ma. Could there be a reason why this one won't work unless it's around 12 V 500 ma?

<brainstormer>: ah, makes sense, thanks
<brainstormer>: can I use a 1.5 a safely with it?
yes more current is ok
it will only use what it needs
just dont increae the voltage
