I posted this on another thread earlier, but that post can easily be missed, so maybe better to start a new thread for this.

I managed to compile the open source editor "g2_editor_fmx" for the following operating systems:

Windows (32 and 64bit)
MacOS Catalina (64 bit)
And now also: Linux Ubuntu (64 bit)

You need the libusb library for all of these. The zip files for MacOS and Linux contain a readme how to install libusb. For Linux (Ubuntu) you also need to set permissions for the g2 usb device.

I haven't tested the MacOS and Linux version extensively, but did some basic patching and it seems to work o.k.

yes, the driver/resonator are available in the editors.
