Vangelis Blade Runner Tribute - Call For Submissions |

Release Date: Vangelis' Birthday, March 29th 2023
So many people requested a Vangelis (1943 - 2022) tribute after his passing last year on May 17, that we have chosen to do this year's tribute album release on his birthday, March 29, 2023. Vangelis's nearly 60 years of work covered a myriad of styles, but few of his endeavors had an impact on electronic and soundtrack music as the 1982 Blade Runner soundtrack. All proceeds from this project will be donated to planting trees with the Billion Trees Project. Much like we are facing with climate change today, the underlying theme of Blade Runner is about humanity's struggle on a dying planet. Thus, we are using this project to help support and revitalize the planet. In this way, we can celebrate the life of great artists, and help others with the power of sound.
Artists are invited to submit their new or previously recorded tribute compositions for inclusion in this tribute collection by following these guidelines:
+ Submissions must be received on or before March 25, 2023.
+ Must be 100% original artists works. No remixes or samples allowed.
+ Tracks submitted should be an honest tribute to Vangelis's Blade Runner work. Tracks not obviously for the project, may be rejected.
+ New or previously release tracks are welcome.
+ One composition per artist.
+ Tracks should be final masters ready to publish.
+ AIFF, FLAC, or WAV file formats only.
+ 200 MB max file size.
+ Submissions must include artist name, track name, country, and ONE site URL.
+ Send files via no login services like Dropbox, WeTransfer, etc - NO ATTACHMENTS!
+ By submitting your track, you give Aural Films permission to publish your work in this project.
