I use raised banana sockets as they're compatible with stackable patch cables which gives more options for sound mangling. But I'm sick of the process of tightening them with needle nosed pliers- it's an unpleasant chore. I've tried some vertical wrenches but they're too big and are never quite right. Does anyone have any more efficient suggestions? Many thanks

Some ideas are on : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Socket_wrench - I'd go for a nut driver myself, but the tube spanner thingies are quite handy too .. only thing is that you'll need to fix the nuts/rings/washers/lugs before soldering wires on ...

The tube thingies can be handy for switches with hex nuts too.

And you may want a set of the things.

Many thanks for the replies. I found a T handle ratchet set that is small enough with multiple heads to get the job done.
