Subject description: How to gate first step before incrementing the counter (4017)

Hi,
I am designing a ten step sequencer, mostly inspired from MFOS's Ten Step Sequencer and Moritz Kleins' design. Diffrent from those, my design is using a 556. Half of it is the clock (in astable mode) and the other half is providing start-stop functionality (in monostable mode). Everything works fine except for this:

Naturally, when the clock starts, 4017 counter advances and the sequence starts on the second step. What I need is to send a gate signal before advancing the counter so that the sequence always starts with the first note.

I tried to figure out some solutions (including some logic circuitry) but I couldn't succeed yet. Any tips would be great.

Thank you so much already.

A schematic would be very helpful if not necessary in answering your question.
