This is a demo of 3 Minidexed DX7 and one module around an YMF704.
Read all about the Minidexed DX7 at https://github.com/probonopd/MiniDexe...
MiniDexed is a FM synthesizer closely modeled on the famous DX7 by a well-known Japanese manufacturer running on a bare metal Raspberry Pi (without a Linux kernel or operating system). On Raspberry Pi 2 and larger, it can run 8 tone generators, not unlike the TX816/TX802 (8 DX7 instances without the keyboard in one box).
In this video I first play three Minidexed DX7 and a module around the Yamaha YMF704 with their respective instruments. After that it's playing the music all together, so basically 24 DX7's and a YMF704.
The sounds for the Minidexed DX7's are composed by Banana71 (Peter )

Oh this, not the music, but the amount of DX-es, reminds me on a concert of Michel Waiswisz I saw once here in town, Enschede .. where he played a rack full of them with "the hands" .. lol .. that was a lot larger all in those days ..must have been 1980 or so I think.

Anyway, cool!

I remember it sounding like .. (but you cannot see the instrument)

And this is from a later version .. where a computer is used and not DX-es .. but you can see how the hands are being used ...
