The manual says:

All MIDI messages received on the MIDI Global Channel will be processed like if these messages came
from the keyboard.


However for morphs controlled by for example ModWheel this is not true.
If you use the wheel on the keyboard only Keyboard Assigned slots (upper leds lit) will morph.

But if you send the corresponding CC (CC#1 for mod wheel) on the Global Channel all active slots will morph. This is true for pitch stick and global wheels (G2X) too and probably some other morphs too.

So when controlled externally morph-controls often behave like the global wheels on the G2X.
