Hi,

My first post after a couple of months reading all kind of posts around here. Very helpfull!! Thanx all!

I have a G2 key now for a few months now, great thingy! Much more playeble than the NM1 which i had before. I still own a Micro because its so small and flexible. (And some other gear Wink

But back to the topic:
An emulation of my first synth, the Yamaha DX21, just because i like some of the sounds and was curious if i could get them out of the G2, and yes, it can get close.

Thanks to 3phase for the 4op router!

As you can see i´ve added a digitizer to get the lo-fi sound and a LowBoost to get the low-end sounds more like my DX21.

I put some variations in that i liked and the much wanted Solid Bas.

Grtz
-Jan

Hi Jan

welcome to electro-music.com!

I can't load this into the demo version, which is crazy because it's only supposed to be an FM patch. Any chance of a demo-friendly version?

If not you could try lately bass or solid bass (a DX2G2 translation).

The former might translate better as it does not use the router or DXoperator.

Nope. The second one don't work, the first one does. However it sounds too squidgy to me- ie it ain't 'solid'.

Thanks anyway. I should get my micro up and running again, but I spend too much time gassing on electro-music.com Shocked Very Happy

The solidbass is a little more solid, the extra two operators help. Latelybass is from TX81Z, and though not quite as solid, has that nice rubber band effect at higher velocity.

Oh, Burp. Nice patch, I like a lot of those variations.

Hi all, thanx for the welcome (and looking at my site Wink, i did check yours also and had a nice time to jan).

I don't know actualy if the lately bass is the same as the solid bass, but the latter is a nice one. Although i never used it. I like the more odd sounding thingies Very Happy

grtz
