Is the information of Chet's site still somewhere available?

In a way it's rather hidden, isn't it?
Why not make the URL a sticky?

I want to extend special thanks to Drs. Perry Cook and Gary Scavone, the authors of the Synthesis Tool Kit (STK). STK is synthesis development software that contains many physical modeling instruments and modules. Although there is much written information about physical modeling, little of it is precise and detailed enough to create models on the G2. STK is an exception, and contains working C++ source code that can be studied. Some of the techniques in these pages were lifted right out of STK.

Hey, that's cool! The STK (or at least most of it) are in ChucK as well because Perry co-authored a lot of ChucK!

If that's your thing you'll like this;
http://www.cs.princeton.edu/~prc/AKPetersBook.htm

That's kinda the STK manual with more stuff thrown in like notes on those funny controllers he build, it's also very practical in approach.

This is fantastic stuff - but someone should link the various patches here to the main patch library. I've been searching for a pipe organ for a while, and here it is.. buried on the last page.

Easier said than done Crying or Very sad posted patches are automatically added, but not patches that came here in any other way ... will have a look at it if I find some time though.

Even if the patch pages just liked to the actual location, that would be enough.

thx

I know this is an older thread, but I just have to say, the tutorial pages Chet put together are brilliant! It's just what I needed. I'm programming a different physical acoustic synth, and I really needed some examples on how the darn things work.
