Slots, patch load & ext MIDI keyboard |
 |
|
How many Slots can control a external keyboard on a patch?, only one?
I'm reading the manual and practicing with a performance from here but the keyboard only control the performance in slot A.
I have understood this well from the manual?
If I direct the signal of the Slot A to Slot C, the patch load will be minor?
every day this red box is more and more exciting |

I'm nott quite sure ... but ...
control-clicking on the slot symbols in the editor toggles a small red bar, this red bar when on signals the slot having keyboard focus. Whether this works for external MIDI keyboard I don't know.
Also there is an issue with MIDI receive channels, to be set in the Synth/Settings dialog.

THanks Blue Hell but I don't understand why one MIDI channel it must correspond to a Slot , in this way slot A to MIDI channel 1, Slot B to MIDI channel 2, C -3 D - 4, why not the 4 slots must correspond to the same MIDI channel, channel one for example? . I don't undestand either , after to have read it in the manual, so that it serves de global channel, by defect always is off.
Sorry my english but I express the best thing than I can...
It also understands that I'm a beginner
Thank you very much for the atention... |

I think you can set A-1, B-1, C-1, D-1 if you want to, on the NM Classic I could.

Now I make an exercise and in a Perf I put all the Slots in the same MIDI Channel and I discover that it's not a goog idea |
