I know this isn't out yet but I'm not familiar with the Nord line in general so I thought I ask. I know the synth is 4 part multitimbral but does it also support keymapping so I can access different sounds across the keyboard? Does the other stuff in the Lead line do this?

Also.. has anyone heard whether or not the wavetables in this can be scanned or swept with either the LFO's or ADSR's?

Thanks for the help. Considering one of these when they come out but I have to part with some other gear to make it happen and I want to make sure this will fill the shoes that need filling.

I doubt you will be able to do a 4-way split, but a simple split will be possible, ie two sounds on each side of a single split.

The Nord Lead 2 and 2X does this 2-way split, but not the Nord Wave as far as I can remember.

From the demos I have heard, the Nord 4 sounds very nice, but I think it has priced itself out of range for me.

Not sure what the story is on the wavetables...

thanks for the response. Real bummer about the split thing. That's always a constant disappointment with a lot of "performance" VA's. I hope it isnt the case because that could be the deal killer for me.

Not really wavetables,just wave samples.
Pretty overpriced 1900 retail and around 1500 second hand but I was lucky enough to get it for 1300.
Nevertheless at 1300 I'm still thinking it's overpriced.

Cheers
