Question about performances on the G2X

Hi, sorry about the potentially stupid question but the manual mentions being able to switch between banks of performances by using the UP/DOWN Navigator buttons. On my G2X, this has no effect.

Am I missing something?

How many Performance Banks do you have? I think the factory set only comes with one bank. You also have a choice of Sort Modes (Shift + Sort Mode) which changes the function of the up/down keys to select across all banks Alphabetically.

Looks like I have 1 performance bank, with 28 performances in it. Like I mentioned, it may be just that I'm not familiar with the G2X. The manual mentions using the UP/DOWN Navigator buttons to check out the other performance banks, which lead me to believe there should be other performance banks. I could be wrong of course.

There are...open 1 perf, and save it into another bank. Then you'll be able to swtich between 2 banks. Right now, the G2 is being smart, knowing there's no perfs. in another bank.
