Uploading patches for the NM1 |
 |
|
Hi there
Is there a place where one could upload a bunch of patches for the Nord Modular 1 family? is the archive an archive or is it still alive...
Do they have to be classified in some sort of way? zipped?
thank you

There is nothing for it really, people just post 'm here in the main (and only) NM Classic thread.
The archive is the archive of the mailing list as collected by Wout. He apparently has collected more patches than are currently available - to be published later. I don't know if Wout keeps the patches sent to here.
The patches from the mailing list were not categorized, except for two sets that were repackaged by others.
Would there be a need for an NM Classic patch specific thread just as there is for the G2 ? Would it need sub levels and/or categories ? Any opinions ? _________________ Jan

Well, there aren't many NM Classic patches send in lately, so in practice the archive is finished growing. To fill in categories, which isn't done by the creators of the patches, would be a hell of a job...
The conversion to the G2 was a very good thing and I will try to investigate the differences as soon as possible. Maybe in the Chateau?

Ok, no problem, i'll make zip files an post them it the NM1 forum.
(.pch are not big files so... and this is an easy way).
If there is not much patch sending or activity, i dont see the need for separate forum thread, it is okay the way it is. Simple enough...
Thank-you

OK.
There is no real need from the forum perspective to zip the patches, it would be easier for people to listen when they were not zipped. _________________ Jan

I'm interested to now when these *extra* patches will become available.. If ever..
Wout?
You like to share that collection? |

As Jan wrote, they will be added later, as soon I have my computer cleaned of the 'to much data'...
BTW Jan has these patches also.
The archive can be renewed by him.

If you have a way (I haven't at the moment), you just hop in a plane and get those patches from my computer yourself. It isn't that far flying
