What I should have said was: How do you set the current time with those modules? How do you correlate Hours, min, seconds to the note values in those 4 modules on the left?

It's done by the event sequencers, although you have to skip the first step, because the '0' doesn't exist on a clock, does it?

Hmm, well actually it's 12 that does not exist in a modulo 12 counting system. We are a bit sloppy with that for 0:15 we also write 12:15, but 72:15 would be just as valid. With minutes and seconds we are a bit more strict like 0:60 is never used but 1:00 instead.

But don't get me started on date and time, we made a mess out that really - as every programmer knows I guess.
