Just yesterday I decided to take a look at the waveforms on my oscilloscope, and saw that they didn't look right at all.

The sine looks like a perfect sine, but the square, triangle and sawtooth look weird. Is this normal or is there something wrong with mine? (I bought it used a couple of days ago)

I'm uploading a picture of how they look.

The triangle pretty much looks like a triangle when the filter is about 10-20% open, but if I open it up more it starts looking like a square. And when at 100% open, it looks like a square with squiggly tops and bottoms. (the tops are angled downwards, while the bottoms are angled upwards)

The square behaves a lot like the triangle, except that it doesn't turn quite into a triangle when the filter is 10-20% open, and becomes much more extreme when the filter is 100% open.

When I open the filter on the saw, it acts like I'm lowering the pulse width or something on it.

Anyway, I think this is a bit weird, and I'd like your opinion on it. Thanks!

....but how does it sound? Question I mean, is there a problem with the way it sounds? Remember that the nord makes waves that are slightly different than standard waveforms. It's explained in the manual somewhere....I'll have a look at it later. Wink

I think you didn't open up the Filter, which is Cut-Off clock wise until the max...

Thanks for the reply!

I actually checked the waveforms again a few days ago, and they looked normal. I think I must've had some resonance on or something, because it was screaming really bad when I opened the filter up. Thanks again!
