Subject description: How to make the keys respond to the amount of pressure?

Hi,

Might be a dumb question, but I am really wondering how to make my Nord Lead 2X respond to the amount of applied pressure just like any other keyboard? You know - NOT morph the sound or make another sound come up but only the SAME sound with different velocity/volume depending on the amount of pressure.

Just your ordinary function of touch sensitive keys.

Thank you!

Cheers,
Aleksandar

hi Wout,

I'll have a look - the thing is I am having trouble understanding all of the possibilities when I only need the simplest one in the universe and I think I am starting to get frustrated with the ingenious famous red keyboard now.

And this is just a NordLead2X! Wait until you'll start using a G2 Very Happy

First, be sure the wheel destination is NOT Morph.
Then press the Velocity/Morph button until it blinks. Turn a knob and press the button again. Now this parameter reacts to Velocity.

The quick turn around is using the Velocity button in the Filter section, which makes the Cut-off frequency react to Velocity.

Thanks Wout. Will try at home - looks like I am among right people then - at least judging by the aggravation-satisfaction ratio Laughing

Also, I can't quite understand why it hasn't been made touch sensitive by default (?)

I can use the morphing and the other sounds coming up or down and whatever, but touch sensitivity should be there by default - at least IMO.
