Hi folks - I'm buying a nord lead 2X from the USA to use in the UK.

There is a voltage difference between the maions supplies in these two countries.

What is the best way around this. Does the synth have a switch or will I need a transformer?

Thanks

David

I don't know for the Nord Lead synths, but the Nord Modulars have either a switch or resolderable jumper for the voltage selection (depending on the exact type), I guess it's the same for the Leads.

When you change the voltage you should also change the fuse, when running on 230 / 240 Volt the current consumed is halved when compared to the 110 V situation, roughly. So the fuse should be half the value a well. Guess you'll have to open the synth on arrival to see what to do, when not sure just ask here, maybe take some pics of the inside.
