Is an option "factory reset "available on NL 2x if yes ,can somebody tell me how to do this.

As I PM'ed you, please, don't open a new thread about something you ask already in another thread Smile

I don't think there is an option to restore the factory presets in the NL2X, because all memory locations are free to use, which wasn't the case in NL and the NL2. (Where Clavia stored the 40 Programs which are able to use freely)

At
http://nm-archives.electro-music.com/020_NordLead2/021_Patches/
and search to the files numbered 3100 to 3400 you'll find the first release of the factory presets.

Now how to get these into your synth...
You have to do this by hand, using a program which is able to send a Sysex message to the synth. I mostly use
http://nm-archives.electro-music.com/020_NordLead2/023_Miscellaneous/NordGenerator_Editor/
which is Windows only...

I assume you already tried http://www.clavia.se/main.asp > products > Nord Lead 2X > downloads > Nord Lead 2 Factory Preset, which provides you with a file able to download using a sequencer, hard or software, all four Banks in once.
