I was advised to purchase a 12 position Lorlin rotary for the 4 position rotary on the MFOS sequencer, and set the stop at four. Today I am building it and realize I never figured out how to set the stop. I am assuming I need to open it up, but fear for breaking it as I have no extras. Any advice is well appreciated.

when you take the mounting nut and toothed washer off the shaft of the switch, you should see another steel washer under that... pull it out, it has a little peg that fits down into a series of holes underneath. make sure you've turned the shaft so its at "one" (counterclockwise), then insert the washer so it's peg is one number past the number of stops you want to set (if you want to select 1-4, the peg goes in slot 5).
