This is probably normal but I want to make sure. I notice that some programs are a little hissier than others. I noticed that when turn all the audio signals down in the "pre filter mix" section and then play the keys there is an audible hiss that amplifies and decays per the amp envelope. I'm assuming that this is just a part of the analogue signal path and the "limitations" of using analog. If anything it probably adds a bit of warmth, but just to make sure, is this a normal effect of the A6?

J.

Unless you have both the pre- and post-filter mixes set to nearly zero, you should not be experiencing hiss like that. The presets should show you a general level to expect, but go quieter than that for a cleaner sound.

Peake - when I turn the pre- & post- mix levels down to zero I hear pretty much nothing except for a few faint notes when I play keys in the higher octave. So, I think everything is fine. - J.
