who do you turn to first to play your work?

Well, I actually think that it's best to present my stuff to people not too close first, certainly not my family or best friends, cos they'll try to be positive and spare me even if the stuff is crap. And since the first opinion I wanna get is a general one (like "How does it sound like?" or "Does it sound interesting?"), I like to show it to people who do not listen to electronic music normally or listen only from time to time. Then to get a much more detailed opinion, I show it to few people I know who do something similar or to my tutor in college, since I regard them as professionals Shocked

I guess if the piece is good and promising and with certain idea or concept, even people not familiar with electro will mostly find it likable or at least worthwhile listening to.... Razz
