I think they make nice stuff for Lunetta circuits to.
I got a very rare one with a logic programmer in it.

I just dug out the Ed Lab 702 "Digital Systems Lab" I bought last year. It has little strip PCBs which are directly mounted on the banana jacks. It uses:
MC845p flip flops X10, MC1806p AND gate X2, DM7420N NAND gate X2, MC1810p NOR X2, MC1808p OR X2, MC1812p XOR X1, MC837p inverter X1, as well as some discrete for comparator, schmitt trigger, one-shot.

There is a speaker on the bottom which I assumed was broken, but it is just really quiet. I have never seen these funky Motorola logic chips before and don't know much about them. The case rocks, and the big panel of bananas and controls is beautiful. So with the power supply and speaker does make for a nice Lunetta. A breadboard is more practical and versatile, but this is way better to lug around without disturbing the patches. I read that it comes with its own special banana cables which are required - their papers said that use of other cables would damage the unit. This suggests that there is some kind of circuit protection built into their cables.

I might remove a few flip flops and install some other things in their place, like a couple of 40106 oscillators, dividers, etc.
