g2 demo on os x problems

Hello.
I've got strange problem. Running G2 demo on Mac OS X (10.5.2) in most patches resulting CPU to hit over 100% and breaks audio. Turning effects off sometimes helps but not much.
On the other hand, same patches running on PC demo (win XP sp2) run smoothly without CPU overload and glitches.
Anyone know what about this?
Do you have same problem if using this demo?

the g2 demo is not universal binary. you can run it fine, but you're right, on my friend's macbook machine... he installed it, and patches that were around 30% for me were going through the roof for him. you might just have to stick with that PC for now.
