I posted this announcement on several groups, yesterday... and now, here.

Any of you who own, or have worked with either Moog's 960/962, or Synthesizers.com Q960/Q962 Sequential Controllers.... well, you know how powerful these puppies can be. After working with the 960 for over 36 years, I think I've come-up with a 'patching technique original'! I've never heard of anyone using this, nor have I ever heard music which sounds like this method was used. I call it "Pattern Bussing"... because that's pretty much what this patch does.

The short version is... This patch let's the performer alter the patterns, and the reset-points of the patterns, thereby creating different patterns... while maintaining the time-signature (if desired)... by using A/B trigger busses, and all on-the-fly (if desired)... or, it can be automated.

Now... I don't know if this technique will work on Moog 960's, or COTK 960's... so I would appreciate anyone who has at least two 960's of either brand, trying-out this patch, and posting the results.

I've posted two annotated demo videos on YouTube. Check 'em out... and enjoy. Leave a comment... give 'em a rating... and if you'd like, join us on the Synthesizers.com users group on Yahoo.

Here's a patch-graphic showing the patch in it's simplest form:
